Our team members are not just trainers. A trainer just beats you through exercise, makes you sweat and has no real concern about your short-term and long-term results. Here at Fitz Fitness, we consider ourselves to be coaches. A coach identifies your goals and helps you break down barriers to get there and that is exactly what we do here at Fitz Fitness.

We also have a holistic focus not just on doing exercises but also on moving and performing the exercises correctly. The average adult sits for over 6 hours per day, causing niggling pains and aches that are functional rather than injuries. Most trainers and physicians will tell you (and many believe) that pain = injury. Pain, however, is a sign of dysfunction and unless you’ve experienced a trauma ( i.e. a sporting injury or impact-based accident)it likely stems from lack of correct movement. Even if you are not in pain, you might not feel as flexible as you might like. . We commit wholly to our clients demanding (and achieving) more from and for themselves. We don’t accept that you really want to but don’t think you can achieve your goals.

This program is perfect for beginners or anyone tired of the typical “poser” gym scene. With tailored, small group sessions, you’ll receive personalized attention to help you build muscle, burn fat, and improve your overall fitness at a pace that suits you. Our simple nutrition plan supports your progress without overwhelming restrictions, making it easier to stay on track.

We also focus on mindset, helping you develop the confidence and consistency to make lasting changes. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to get back into fitness, Stronger You will guide you every step of the way.

Nutrition

We’ll take your Nutrition from where it is no matter how bad it is, and develop Fundamental Habits, we’ll then teach you how to build these habits into your lifestyle long term. Nutrition is overwhelming, there’s so many conflicting pieces of information. We’ll take that and give you a straight forward and direct plan. We have 2 different levels to our Nutrition, you CAN absolutely get the results you desire without ever counting Calories or being on a restrictive diet. We also have a more advanced program for people wanting to take their results to a whole other level.

“I joined FitzFitness in August of 2020. 

I was stuck in a rut, doing nothing but a bit of walking and not eating correctly.  My food habits were, to say the least, unhealthy.  I had a BMI of 30.4  and was classed as obese.  My energy levels were very low and it took a lot out of me to do anything any bit exertive.  To run up the stairs was a no no as I had no energy for it.  On occasion I did run up the stairs and was horrified by all the bits that wobbled! Also, my wardrobe was shrinking as nothing fitted. 

In mid August I took the plunge and joined Fitz Fitness.  I joined the 12 week transformation course.  I spoke to John and he assured me that all would be ok, to start at my own speed and go from there.  I got loads of advice about nutrition and meal plans to help me out. I started 3 strength and conditioning classes a week in the gym.  I also did some HIIT classes. 

Then COVID hit, again.  Not a problem for Fitz Fitness as they had all their classes on line.  If I missed a class I could go on line to the recording and do it in my own time.  John and Trish encouraged me all the way and still do.  The classes are blood pumping but I have improved greatly.  I have dropped nearly 17 kg and my BMI is at 24.6 which is a healthy weight for me.  I have toned all over and have muscles where there was once none.  More importantly, my clothes are fitting!!! 

I could not have done this without the help, support and experience of John and his team.  I do really enjoy doing the classes  as the banter with the other members is mighty.  I would wholeheartedly recommend Fitz Fitness to get your life back on track.

The picture on the left was taken 2 months prior to Ken O’Donovan joining our Transformation program. Ken was after a rough few months personally and he knew it was time for change.

We actually didn’t get off to the perfect start. Five weeks in, Ken phoned me as he was concerned about his progress, he only lost a pound in 4 weeks. I assured him that this was normal and explained that it was crucial to remain patient and more importantly, CONSISTENT. We were focused on one thing (no snacking) and Ken thought it was all a bit too simple.

But Boom, the following week he was down 5 pounds and 12 weeks later he was down 20 pounds. Ken then set the goal of being down 50 pounds before his 50th Birthday a few months later (despite being in lockdown) .. . .. And of course he absolutely smashed it 👊

What I’m most impressed with is that he has maintained that weightloss for well over a year. He can now run 10km in 54 mins, Deadlift over 100kg and as you can see from the pic on the right, he is in phenomenal shape 💪.

Since joining, Ken has never missed a scheduled session be it in gym or online. The secret to his success is NOT detox diets, magic pills, crazy insane workouts…. It’s doing the simple things right Consistently 💯
